Mark’s current practice is in visual arts, set design and sculpture. His work explore’smetaphors of colonisation and domestication within a broad national context. His artwork is a playful commentary on society, turning the monotonous into something far more interesting and challenging.  He creates using simplistic and common aspects and materials of the everyday.  His current large sculptures have focused on concrete as a design material, with recent works involving curatorial inclusion in the Montalto Sculpture prize 2016 to 2019,  Lorne Sculpture Biennale 2018, BOAA - Biennale of Australian Art, Wollongong sculpture award 2020, and winning Tesselaar Sculpture Award 2017.  He regularly designs works with Back to Back Theatre. Other recent projects include Seeding for a Greener City – Macau, China, invited artist - Art Prospect, St Petersburg Russia and public commissions with Geelong city council, Wyndham city council and Golden Plains Shire & the private collections.
